Nekonnection
The core game of the game play is hide and seek.
This game is made for submission on Jamlytics Jam #1 with the theme "A Poor Connection".
In regards to that theme, we make the game with the concept of poor signal and poor bond in mind.
In poor signal, the player trying to send signal (calling) to the cats that can be received in certain distance within the cat's radius. But the cat might not reply to that calling.
In poor bond, we explore it in bond story about cats and the owner. Where both of them can't communicate properly but attached to each other.
This game is also text less for accessibility reason, so players with any language can play the game. (This can also be an extension exploration of poor communication where the narrator of the game and the player that are playing it and trying to understand the story (refers to the theme of the game jam)
The game is initially build with Love2D in the first week but then changed to Unity after that. Feel free to check out the not finished (love2D) version of the game.
